It is with great sadness and very heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Carla Obuck, the President of the Auburn Bay Community Association. Carla was not only a dedicated leader but also one of the founding members of the CA, whose unwavering commitment helped shape the vibrant community we cherish today. Throughout her years of service, Carla also volunteered extensively with the Resident’s Association, demonstrating her deep love for Auburn Bay and her genuine desire to foster a strong, connected community.
Carla’s passion and dedication were instrumental in bringing to life many of Auburn Bay’s beloved events and initiatives. She was a driving force behind the Community Gardens, which brought residents together around sustainability and shared growth. She also played a key role in organizing the annual Stampede Breakfast and the Parade of Lights, events that have become cherished traditions for families and neighbors alike. For many years, her leadership and enthusiasm were the reasons these events came to fruition, and her influence will continue to be felt for years to come.
